About Us - Baking Manufacturers Industry Association of Australia BMIAA HAS BEEN IN EXISTENCE SINCE 1981 IT IS THE ONLY FEDERALLY REGISTERED AND RECOGNISED BODY FOR THE BAKING INDUSTRY THAT CAN ASSIST TO FURTHER PROTECT AND EXTEND THE COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL INTERESTS OF MEMBERS. The Baking Manufacturers Industry Association of Australia is made up of the state associations 2 persons from each state association formulate the council giving the body a fair democratic system. The state BIAs that contribute to BMIAA are NSW, Vic, Tasmania, South Australia and as of October 2009 we welcome the Baking Industry Assoc Western Australia talks are being held with other states to join and be part of the national body. There are no extra charges to members of the state associations your association subscribes to the National Body. The BMIAA assists Association Members with many services such as insurance, food labelling and testing, support with HACCP and technical support on baking, pastry and artisan breads. The BMIAA are here to offer assistance, no matter how small or large your business, we can help you with an experienced team we are constantly meeting with.

The BMIAA are members of the Council of Small Business of Australia or COSBOA They meet regularly with other industry associations in Canberra and are able to gain access to Federal Government ministers on issues relating to operating a business large or small.
